Netflix's competition series Bake Squad is all about providing clients with the best sweet treats for their important occasions by offering them options from four different expert bakers.

Two stars of Netflix's Bake Squad —Christina Tosi and Ashley Holt know a thing or two about baking. So today, they're joining us to bestow their sugary sage wisdom upon us.

It’s 8:37 p.m. the night before the 2017 New York Cake Show, and Ashley Holt is pouring herself a cup of coffee.

It’s not her first or last of the day. The 29-year-old behind Sugar Monster Sweets — who’s appeared on Cake Boss and won Season 3 of TLC’s Next Great Baker — will work through the night until 7 a.m., when it’s time to get the cake from her south Brooklyn studio to Manhattan’s Pier 36 for the competition.
